Articulated Dumper Assessment Duration

1 Day FAS CSCS Articulated Dumper Assessment (typically 8.30am to 4.30pm).

Location

This 1 day Articulated Dumper assessment course is available on-site on your premises anywhere in the Republic of Ireland subject to minimum numbers. A suitable room would be required for on-site training for the theory section of the course, and machines are needed for the practical assessment. The Certificate of Thorough Examination for the machine must be in date where required.

 

Articulated Dumper Certification

On successful completion of this FAS CSCS Articulated Dumper Assessment you will be issued with a FETAC Certificate and FAS CSCS Operator Card for Articulated Dumpers.

 

Articulated Dumper Course Description

The Programme will consist of a combination of a classroom session of underpinning knowledge relating to Articulated Dumper operations, and practical operation of the Articulated Dumper.

• Introduction to the Articulated Dumper Operator’s Manual
• Articulated Dumper pre-use checks
• Articulated Dumper safety awareness
• Safety controls
• Prepare the machine for movement
• Travel and operate the Articulated Dumper
• Positioning Articulated Dumper for loading and unloading
• Park and secure the Articulated Dumper
• Theory test
• Practical test

Trainee Requirements

Candidates must be over 18 and may attend the Articulated Dumper Assessment by a choice of 2 routes:

Candidates who have no experience of operating Articulated Dumpers must complete the 3 day New Entrant Site Dumper course before attending the FAS CSCS Assessment (listed on our Course List).

Experienced Articulated Dumper Operators who have not attended the 3 day New Entrant programme may present for the Articulated Dumper Assessment subject to filling out the required Self Assessment / Declaration paperwok and satisfying the relevant criteria. All candidates must hold a current FAS Safe Pass Registration Card.

PPE Requirements

Trainees must have the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment with them i.e. Helmet, Safety Boots, Hi-Viz Vest.

This FAS CSCS Articulated Dumper Assessment  is suitable for anyone who wishes to achieve the CSCS Articulated Dumper card (ticket) which is required for Articulated Dumper drivers on construction sites.
