Self Propelled Boom Course Duration
1 Day Self Propelled Boom MEWP Operator training course (typically 8.30am to 4.30pm). Please note that Scissor Lift can also be done on the same day as Self Propelled Boom. See our HFH Scissor Lift & Self Propelled Boom course listed under Course List.
Location
This 1 day training course is available daily from our Republic of Ireland training centres (Ashbourne, Limerick). On-site training on your premises is also available anywhere in Ireland subject to minimum numbers. A suitable room would be required for on-site training for the theory section of the course, and a Self Propelled Boom is needed for the practical. A copy of the current 6 monthly Certificate of Thorough Examination for each MEWP is required.
Self Propelled Boom Certification
Successful delegates will receive a Height for Hire Operator Card valid for 5 years and a Height for Hire Certificate of Training. Photographs for the operator card are taken on site and included in the above price.

Trainee Requirements
Candidates must be at least 16 years of age. They must be medically fit to operate machinery.
PPE Requirements
Trainees must have the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment with them (i.e. Helmet, Safety Boots, Hi-Viz Vest, Harness & Lanyard).
