What is the Safety Harness course?
Safety Harness training instructs a user in how to select, inspect and use a harness and associated equipment safety when using a MEWP. IPAF half day course is also available. Candidates can include harness training as part of the Height for Hire MEWP course on the same day if required.
This half day Safety Harness training course is available daily from any of our training centres Dublin, Cork, Portlaoise, Limerick, Belfast, Manchester, London, Glasgow, Newcastle, Midlands / Banbury.
On-site training on your premises is also available anywhere in Ireland and UK subject to minimum numbers. A suitable room would be required for on-site training for the theory section of the course, and Safety Harness and Lanyards are needed for the practical.
Safety Harness Training Certification
Successful delegates will receive a Height for Hire or IPAF Certificate of Training valid for 5 years, depending on the choice of the candidate. IPAF certification is available and must be requested at the time of booking.

Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
Trainees must have the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment with them i.e. Harness & Lanyard.

To provide delegates with the essential knowledge required to carry out pre-use checks, and to use and store Safety Harnesses correctly when using an MEWP.
